Healing crystals and stones come in all sizes, colors and shapes.
Each crystal has a unique vibrational resonance which is derived from their mineral content, shape and the colour frequency they emit. Every healing crystal has its own energy vibration. The energy of the crystal can have powerful effects on the energy vibrations within a person.

Want to know how it all began? How I started working with Crystals

Transcript of the video:

First, I want to tell you about a couple of things.

A lot of you ask me about crystal skulls.

We actually get pretty in-depth into that in my Advanced Crystal Master Course. A magazine that I subscribe to Rock & Gem, in its August 2014 issue, had a really good article on crystal skulls called Art or Artifacts.

They tried to keep it relatively based in fact so that you can get a good overview as far as what’s what with the crystal skulls (giving you the facts) & then you can make up your mind from there. So, I thought that was a good article & I wanted to bring that up and tell you about that.

Then there’s the gem shows! The Tucson Gem Show is held every year in the end of January-February. There are some great online resources for the Tucson Gem and Mineral Fossil Showcase. They always have different things that are happening.

Sometimes the major places, the meeting spots move from spot to spot, but generally around all of Tucson; there are Gem Shows happening all over the place. And if … Read More

COLOR OF THE YEAR: MARSALA ~ 2015 ~ Rubellite, Ruby + Cinnabar

Hola Crystal Hottie!

Today we are going to talk about Pantone’s 2015 Color of the Year, which happens to be Marsala. Over the past few years, I’ve done a video with this theme, finding a crystal that embodies that specific light frequency.

Pantone describes Marsala as a “naturally robust & earthy wine red.”

Since making this video, I’ve discovered that yes, Marsala is indeed a wine produced in the region surrounding the Italian city of Marsala in Sicily.

Man! Marsala was a tough color.

Yeah, it was hard to find a crystal that was that exact color that Marsala is because a Pantone Color is very specific. I swear, while I was sitting down to make up this video, I could not think of any others! Was drawing a total blank.

Rubellite

Rubellite is actually a ruby-red color of tourmaline; hence its name! Tourmaline comes in almost every color of the rainbow.

The specimen I show in the video is actually a rubellite in clear quartz matrix & it’s a lighter color of the rubellite. It’s actually bordering on … Read More

Everything You Ever Wanted To Know About a Himalayan Salt Lamp

I get a lot of questions about the Himalayan Salt Lamp:

What’s the big deal about these Himalayan Salt Lamps?

Do they really do what everybody says they do?

So the primary thing that Himalayan Salt Lamps “do” is that they induce negative ions into your environment. (We’ll get to that in a moment).

I have one in my sacred crystal studio here. He’s super heavy & pretty darn oversized —

he comes up to my knee.

I really like to have a salt lamp in just about every room of our home (2 in the bedroom; we have one on each of our nightstands on either side of our bed.)  My husband, Frankie, and I really enjoy having them in our home due to how they restructure the energy of our environment. 🙂

Salt is a crystal, halite to be exact, and it’s well-known for its cleansing and purifying properties. It is a very “soft” mineral (only a 2-2.5 on the Mohs Hardness scale) and is exceptionally water-soluble.  So don’t wet your lamp to clean it off… ever.

Best Crystal for Capricorns: What Wikipedia Can’t Tell You

Capricorns! It’s our time to shine sparkly ones!

I like talking about Capricorns because I’m a Capricorn and our birthdays land between December 22nd and January 19th. And a crystal that I really like to work with is Ruby.

Edgar Cayce  actually gave us a list of crystals to work with the different astrological signs. I don’t really don’t subscribe at all to the birth stones that go along with different birth months because those were brought about by different jewelry associations to help sell the gem stones.

HM.1.14

The astrological correspondences I feel make a lot more sense and go along with the different personality types or energy types that have to do with our astrological signs.
So, the sign we are in now is Capricorn.

Capricorns have a tendency to be very patient people, intelligent, ambitious people, highly ambitious sometimes to a fault. Very grounded, very earthy people, and the sign is, it’s an Earth sign and the sign is goat!

Now I’m not an astrological expert at all. There are plenty of you out there, I know there are. So I … Read More
