Can Crystal Color Determine it’s Meaning? & Who made up the BUNK that crystal energy can be based on color!?

This question came in & I think it is so funny how this is worded:

Who made up the BUNK that crystal energy can be based on color?

Ha! Here’s the vid…

Yeah! So where’d this bunk come from?

All right, so I don’t know that it’s necessarily a “who made it up” type a’ thing.

Actually, this whole concept of color & crystals aligning with different energy centers throughout our bodies & resonating with different organs & glands has been around for thousands & thousands of years & is a common thread through many different cultures. It goes back to ancient teachings.

And it’s actually something that we can scientifically back up & even measure in some instances (I get much deeper into that in my Certified Crystal Healer Course).

Rather than someone “making it up” I feel it’s actually a case of many different cultures tapping in at the same time to a particular teaching or Universal Knowing…a collective tapping in of collective consciousness (or unconsciousness) & all coming up with the idea at the same time. This has been known to happen with scientists , inventors, discoverers, etc.; actually where 2 different … Read More

COLOR OF THE YEAR: MARSALA ~ 2015 ~ Rubellite, Ruby + Cinnabar

Hola Crystal Hottie!

Today we are going to talk about Pantone’s 2015 Color of the Year, which happens to be Marsala. Over the past few years, I’ve done a video with this theme, finding a crystal that embodies that specific light frequency.

Pantone describes Marsala as a “naturally robust & earthy wine red.”

Since making this video, I’ve discovered that yes, Marsala is indeed a wine produced in the region surrounding the Italian city of Marsala in Sicily.

Man! Marsala was a tough color.

Yeah, it was hard to find a crystal that was that exact color that Marsala is because a Pantone Color is very specific. I swear, while I was sitting down to make up this video, I could not think of any others! Was drawing a total blank.

Rubellite

Rubellite is actually a ruby-red color of tourmaline; hence its name! Tourmaline comes in almost every color of the rainbow.

The specimen I show in the video is actually a rubellite in clear quartz matrix & it’s a lighter color of the rubellite. It’s actually bordering on … Read More

Why a Chakra-Focused Crystal Grid is Sexy

*snicker, snicker*

Sexy? YES! B/c squeaky clean balanced chakras are sexy. Yes INDEEDY!!

There are so many of ways to invite sexy health & vitality into our bodies & on several different levels: emotional, physical & spiritual. So, how about a novel way of working with your chakras? Hmmmmm?

chakra crystal healing

I love using crystals to work with the energy of our chakras. Yeah, yeah…most of us know that crystal healing involves working with crystals & the chakras in a physical way, but I’d like to present a slightly different way here today.

Several years ago I actually had a student who created a chakra crystal grid!

Now, I’m the self-proclaimed Queen of Crystal Grids…but this was new to me. I had never thought of doing this before! BTW, I’m always so grateful to my students for teaching me so much. It’s through their eyes & minds that I become a better teacher…but I digress!

So I thought this was a wonderful idea. (She was kind enough to allow me to share this photo over the years of her lovely solar plexus crystal grid):

Chakra Grid… Read More
